This is a resource list of children, some of whom reside at SCH, that are currently listed for international adoption with the advocacy website Reece’s Rainbow.

SCH Kids

AT RISK OF AGING OUT (Age 14+)

Meet *Ginger, a 14-year-old girl who lives at Jubilee Home and is waiting for her forever family to find her. PD: *Ginger wears a white dress w/ pink floral print & pink bow in her short, curly hair. Age 6-9

Meet *Penny, a 9-year-old girl who lives at Anchor Home and is waiting for her family to find her. Age 0-5

Meet *Connor, a 5-year-old boy who lives at Anchor Home and is waiting for his family to find him. PD: *Connor wears a bright yellow shirt & blue bandanna w/ white stars. He sits in his wheelchair, a smile visible on his face under the graphic covering his face to protect his identity.

Meet *Eden, a 4-year-old girl who lives at Anchor Home and is waiting for her family to find her. Outside SCH

Donnie, listed on Reece’s Rainbow, has cerebral palsy & some other disabilities that need addressing. He also lives in a mental institution for adults in an EE country. He needs out ASAP.

Lizzie (from China), listed on Reece’s Rainbow, is blind w/ some light perception. She attends a special program for blind kids, a special school, and receives weekly therapy. She has had speech & language therapy classes for 8 months & has learned so much! She can communicate through signs, but she has loved the freedom that comes with being able to communicate what she wants vocally.

Jewell, has been listed on Reece’s Rainbow since she was 4 years old (2010). Lives in an EE, available to older parents & large families. She’s the victim of parental physical abuse & suffers from traumatic brain injury (TBI – fractures in bones around brain, causing sub-arachnoidal influence in the form of irreversible damage), further complicating her disabilities which include severe CP, hemiplegia, & microcephaly. In 2015, she was reported to be walking, but we do not know if she still has this skill due to malnutrition. SIGNIFICANT RISK, PLEASE ADOPT ME SOON!!
