Andy, Brenda, Carl, & Dani have a family coming! They are listed on the ‘My Family Found Me’ page on Reece’s Rainbow!
Added Joey and his siblings!
Added Vincent, Wade, and their 4 siblings!
This is the fourth post in my short series of reference posts regarding the adoption of sibling sets! To refresh your memory, or if you’re just reading this, here’s a recap. So far, you’ve been introduced to 2 posts-worth of sibling pairs waiting for families, as well as a post of trios! I’m using the website Reece’s Rainbow as my reference, as the site has a list of children available for adoption who are part of sibling sets who should be kept together unless otherwise noted. I’ve paraphrased & clarified some entries to make them more easily-readable, as sometimes the translations can make the wording confusing.
Note the names given are most likely not the childrens’ real names, as online pseudonyms are used most of the time to protect their privacy.
Today’s post will focus on waiting sibling groups of 4 & 5!
Meet Vincent, Wade, & their 4 siblings! Their other 4 siblings are 14- and 8-year old boys and 10- and 12-year-old girls. They have been to the US for hosting. They are located in Eastern Europe. They are available to older parents and large families! They have an FSP of $180.

Wade, the younger brother of the 2, was born in 2016. He has been diagnosed with an unspecified brain disorder.
Andy, Brenda, Carl, & Dani have a family coming!
This sibling set lives in an Eastern European country. They are available to single moms! There are no photos of the children on Reece’s Rainbow due to country privacy rules, but interested families may be able to request photos.
Andy, age 9, is creative and can draw beautifully. His social skills are developed according to age. He is able to communicate verbally and can clearly tell about his wishes and feelings. He likes sports activities. He is inquisitive and tries to do his homework. He has difficulties in concentrating on a task that requires a longer time, and can quickly get tired, offended, and angry. His language development is delayed. He has difficulty dealing adequately with conflict situations, respecting borders, and accepting criticism or correction, and has anxious behavior. He tends to disobey the rules and react to remarks with anger and resentment. He is friendly with peers, but not always friendly with his sisters and brother. He is a strong leader. His psycho-emotional state is stable and he needs to continue to learn to control his emotions.
Brenda, age 8, is loving, kind, generous, and hardworking. She likes to sing, dance, and swim. She likes to dress up, wear dresses, create hairstyles, and help with household chores. She likes to go to school, but has difficulties in her native language, English, and mathematics and has language delays. She is friendly with peers, makes eye contact with adults, and shows affection for them. If something is not right, she tends to get very angry and resentful. She is always interested and feels responsible for her siblings.
Carl, age 6, is inquisitive, explores his surroundings, and shows a desire to learn new things. He likes to play with Legos, toy cars, and puzzles, and to play board games. He is also active and likes to play ball and ride a scooter. He is beginning to read and put syllables together. He has language delays and his social skills are developed according to his age. He fits well into the work of groups and follows the rules of behavior adopted by a group. He has become more independent and shows a sense of humor. He attends a preschool institution, and is in an educational program for children with language developmental delay.
Dani, age 4, is very kind by nature; she knows how to, and likes to, care for others. She likes to play with dolls and ride a scooter. When playing with peers or younger children, she is like a teacher and enjoys instructing others. She has a tendency to get angry when something is not right and defends her opinion. The girl creates a games with a story and various events. She has language delays and her social skills are age-appropriate. She has great motor skills, developed appropriately to her age. She is becoming more and more independent. She is beginning to realize her actions have consequences, and is learning to limit herself. She shows care for younger children and attends kindergarten.
All 4 children have suffered emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, as well as neglect. They have received social rehabilitation for children who have suffered from violence, and received medical assistance and appropriate education. Rehabilitation has made the children more balanced and aware of what to do in an emergency. They need special attention and love, patience, and strict boundaries.
Meet Joey and his siblings! Joey has 3 or 4 siblings, and all must be adopted together. He has two sisters: D, born 2009 & A, born 2007; and two brothers: Y, born in 2006, and a younger brother whose status is unknown. They are located in Eastern Europe. Joey was born in 2011. He has been diagnosed with developmental delay, brain dysfunction, and a speech delay.
From a family that met him, December 2015:
Joey is a tiny, smiley little guy who loves attention and hugs! He was so happy to sit on my lap for a hug, to show me the little stuffed animal and toys he was holding, and to have his picture taken! He is verbal and said things like, “Cheese!” when having his picture taken, and “Can I see?” to see the photo stored in the camera. He will make a sweet addition to any family and he will simply thrive with the love of a Mama and Papa poured into him!
Meet LIESL, KURT, BRIGITTA, & LOUISA! They are located in Eastern Europe. They are available to older parents & large families. They absolutely MUST be adopted together!

FRIEDRICH, KURT, LIESL, LOUISA, & BRIGITTA have a family coming!
This is a different group of 5 siblings from the group of 4 above. They live in Eastern Europe. They are available to older parents, large families, & single moms! All 5 children meet regularly, because their foster families are friends (Liesl, Brigitta, & Kurt live in 1 home, whilst Friedrich & Louisa live in another). They celebrate the children’s namesake days & birthdays together, as well as participate in events organized for foster families. They have a LARGE grant available through Reece’s Rainbow.
Friedrich, the eldest half-brother, was born summer 2006. He has blue eyes & blonde hair. He finished 4th grade at school; he studies according to his abilities with support. If not provoked, he is very thoughtful, diligent, & precise in class. He enjoys playing with Legos, drawing, making things from various materials, & to sing & dance. He is nice & sincere by character. He is bonded to his siblings & always good to them; he has never been aggressive towards them. Prospective families should take into consideration he has some behavior issues that endanger himself & others, as during episodes of aggression he can become affected & unable to calm down for a long period of time (as noted above, he has never been aggressive toward siblings). He is diagnosed with a mixed disorder of behavior & emotion. He agrees to be adopted only together with his siblings.
Kurt, the 2nd-eldest brother, was born in summer 2009. He has blue eyes & light hair. He is a quiet & sincere child who likes TV & enjoys playing games outside. He has learning difficulties & needs to study according to a specialized curriculum. He attends sessions with a speech therapist, has sand therapy, & loves to attend modern dance classes. He wishes to sing in a choir. He has difficulty reading, but is admirably hardworking; he works additionally by himself, as he wishes to gain recognition. He is bonded to his siblings. He is diagnosed with small stature & needs a consultation with an endocrinologist.
Liesl, the middle child, was born in spring 2011. She has blue eyes & blonde hair. She attends kindergarten, where she gladly plays with other children, likes to draw, & enjoys singing. She is hard-working in the learning process, but not successful in many things; she finds it difficult to learn letters & do writing tasks, as her attention is unstable. She tries to put her belongings in order, is able to dress herself, & is friendly & sweet in communication with others. She is joyful by nature, although sometimes may be naughty, but it is possible to come to an agreement with her. She is close to her siblings, especially Friedrich. She is diagnosed with nocturnal enuresis & a behavior disorder.
Louisa, the 2nd-youngest sister, was born in spring 2012. She has brown eyes & light hair. She enjoys playing with other children, likes to color & draw. She also likes to sing, has a good voice, & can keep a tune. She is diligent & hard-working. She helps her foster mother in household jobs. She is friendly & sweet in communication with others. She is closest to her siblings with whom she lives, & is happy to meet her other siblings. She is diagnosed with a speech & language development delay.
Brigitta, the youngest sister, was born in spring 2013. She has brown eyes & brown hair. She enjoys playing with her siblings with whom she lives; toward other children, she is more reserved. By character, she is more naughty than Louisa; she obeys instructions with difficulty, tends to argue, sometimes may be aggressive towards others, & may bite to get her way. She likes to sing, color in coloring books, give herself various hairstyles, & dress up. She is close to her siblings with whom she lives & is happy to meet her other siblings. She is diagnosed with a speech & language development delay.
Thanks for sticking with me through 4 weeks of posts! My goal is to increase the visibility for these kids, as sibling sets and are less likely to be adopted, especially if they consist of or include an older child (any child over the age of 3 is considered an ‘older child’ in the adoption community). Please don’t hesitate to share this post or any of the profiles contained, & follow the links to learn more!
Don’t forget to check out ‘Find Me Friday’, every Friday of each week, where I feature a waiting child who needs a family!
